Nantong Haidi Chemicals Co., Ltd. is a Sino-Japan joint venture, which founded by Haimen Chemical Material Plant and DIC (Dainippon Ink and Chemicals Inc.) in December 2000. It is located on the west coast of East Sea of China, facing the Yangtze River and Shanghai City on the other side. The dramatically growing Yangtze River Delta in which Haidi situates is most influenced by the Shanghai economy, and has great advantage of the convenient transportation by land, sea and air.
Haidi’s predecessor, Haimen Chemical Material Plant was established in 1985, and was specialized in the manufacturing of dyestuffs, pigments, and dye’s intermediates. After years’ exploring and developing, Haidi built up its fame in this field. The company now possesses fixed assets over US$10,000, 000 and an area of 76,000 square meters. It employs over 500 staffs, of which more than 70 are engineers and technicians, and more than 15% of the staffs are college educated. The high quality of the labor not only guarantees the process of quality management, but also strongly supports Haidi’s R&D strategy. In the past years, Haidi had developed dozens of products, and spread these products into international market successfully. The annual turnover from oversea market reaches US$365,000,000.
